Cecilia Romero was born and raised in Paris, moved to Spain, lived with Andalusian Gypsies to study Flamenco. She traveled the world as a top soloist Flamenco dancer and enjoyed a thrilling career for well over a decade. Cecilia shared the stage with Spain's most esteemed Flamenco companies and top recording artists before pursuing a career in Hairstyling.
After assisting genius hairdressers such as Eugene Souleiman and Guido as a core part of their teams during New York, Milan and Paris Fashion Weeks, Cecilia started a career of her own. Her long time collaboration with photographer Drew Jarrett helped her build a strong international clientele and a portfolio of fashion publications such as LOVE, Numero, Dazed and Confused, Another, SSAW, Men about Town, Vogue, W Magazine among others.
She recently dressed Isabelle Huppert, Isabella Rossellini, Dame Judi Dench and Holly Hunter's hair for photo shoots and film premieres.
Cecilia is also a New York licensed Master barber. She lives in Brooklyn. Her latest bookings include Leonardo DiCaprio, Mikhail Baryshnikov, Michael Moore, David Duchovny, Sergei Polunin, Stellan Skarsgård to name a few.
